Defence - Old Holsworthy & Tobruk Lines

At Old Holsworthy and Tobruk Lines, Decocorp combined fitout delivery with strict access, approval and security requirements from day one. The works covered bathroom refurbishments, tiling, joinery, fire services, furniture, fixtures and equipment procurement, installation and supporting trade packages. Delivery required careful planning around Defence access protocols, NV1 clearance needs and DEWPO approval requirements. Decocorp managed the process through clear staging, early trade coordination and close communication with base representatives, physical security teams and project stakeholders. Trade sign ins and inductions were coordinated to keep crews moving efficiently while maintaining compliance with site requirements. The team also managed procurement separately from installation, allowing key items to be secured and coordinated with the construction programme. This helped support continuity on site and gave the project team greater control over sequencing. At Holsworthy, the project was completed with no security compliance issues or DEWPO complaints recorded for unsupervised access. The result was a successful Defence delivery in a controlled live environment, backed by practical planning, disciplined site management and strong stakeholder coordination.
