Marrickville Medical Centre Urgent Care

Decocorp delivered a full medical fitout covering consult rooms, treatment bays, procedure room, X ray room, sterile areas, nurse stations, prep zones, administration spaces, storage, a new WC and a dedicated communications room. The program was shaped by early planning. Long lead items were identified and ordered early, including over the Christmas period, so the build could keep moving. The floor plan was also refined around existing in ground services, reducing the need for intrusive works and helping protect the building fabric. Working within an occupied commercial site meant every movement had to be controlled. Deliveries, waste removal and noisy works were managed outside normal hours, while trade sequencing kept the site productive without overcrowding. The X ray room was completed in line with radiation consultant requirements, with lead lining installed to contain radiation within the room perimeter. The project was handed over with no defects recorded, allowing the clinic to open on time. ForHealth welcomed its first patient before the required contractual date.
