Decocorp was tasked by a pioneering lithium technology startup to construct a bespoke pilot plant and research facility, aimed at testing and scaling groundbreaking technology.
Engaged from the early stages, Decocorp conducted thorough due diligence to affirm the suitability of the existing site. Despite facing various challenges, including the bespoke nature of the facility and evolving technical requirements from the client, Decocorp delivered a solution that exceeded expectations.
The ground floor was transformed into an innovation laboratory equipped with advanced features like fume cupboards, exhaust extraction systems, and climate control technologies. The facility also included reticulated lab gases and hydraulic services essential for cutting-edge research. An electrical main upgrade was crucial to meet the enhanced power requirements. This innovative space not only supports the startup’s research initiatives but also stands as a testament to Decocorp’s capability to deliver complex, technology-driven construction projects.
This project was awarded a Top Project of the Year in the prestigious E+E (Environment & Energy) Leader Product & Project Awards 2025. These awards celebrate and highlight cutting-edge innovations in products and services that provide companies with energy and environmental benefits.
