Through precise coordination and technical expertise, Decocorp transformed an unused space into a fully compliant CT suite, delivering a fully integrated high performing clinical environment with seamless integration and zero disruption to existing operations.
Decocorp was engaged to convert an underutilised space within a live healthcare environment into a fully operational diagnostic suite. The area was completely rebuilt with new flooring, ceilings, lined partitions, and upgraded finishes to create a modern, durable clinical setting. Lead-lined walls and doors were installed to meet strict radiation shielding standards, ensuring immediate safety and compliance.
Working in close coordination with the hospital and Siemens, Decocorp managed all design inputs, sequencing, and technical requirements for the CT machine. A new HVAC system, upgraded electrical services, and dedicated sub-boards were integrated seamlessly, along with a new control station, seating, and refreshed change area to support daily operations.
A standout achievement was developing an alternative access solution for the CT unit, avoiding façade removal, road closures, and significant costs. The scanner was safely wheeled into place through a controlled internal route, enabling a smooth installation. The suite passed radiation testing on the first attempt and was delivered defect-free at practical completion, allowing operations to commence immediately and showcasing a project executed with speed, efficiency, and excellence.
