The works added advanced imaging capability, more clinical space and safer access without interrupting the practice. The project involved new MRI and CT rooms, a shared control room, added treatment areas, office support spaces and accessible ramps to the front and rear entries. With the clinic operating throughout construction, Decocorp set up clear separation between the work zone and active clinical areas, protecting staff, patients and daily operations from dust and noise. The imaging rooms drove the programme. Decocorp worked early with the MRI and CT suppliers to map out installation needs, responsibilities and commissioning requirements. This included coordination of the MRI Faraday cage and CT lead lined partitions, ensuring each room was ready for the fixed equipment installation dates. A smarter structural approach also reduced disruption. By using prefabricated timber roof trusses, timber whaling beams and LVLs, Decocorp avoided intrusive footing works within the live clinic and helped bring the programme forward. Delivered over the Christmas period in just over twelve weeks, the project was completed on time and on budget, with the clinic continuing to operate and the new imaging spaces fully commissioned.
